InnoWave strengthens world leadership ambition with the acquisition of WinTrust.
InnoWave, a Portuguese technology company with international presence, just acquired 80% of the – also Portuguese – WinTrust: a company that specializes in providing Quality Assurance services to Software and Cloud/DevOps area.
With this merge, The Innowave Group now has 300 workers and a wide set of companies that specialize in different but complementary business areas, with WinTrust now being the company that provides both the Quality Assurance services and Test Automation products. All 50 members of the current WinTrust team, including the managers, will remain on the company and move to InnoWave’s headquarters, in Lisbon.
This acquisition strengthens InnoWave‘s worldwide player status, “with the ambition to lead the global market in innovation and digital transformation”, has said by Tiago Gonçalves, InnoWave’s CEO.
InnoWave has been betting on strong organic growth and acquisitions strategy and, following that, “WinTrust integration on the Group will reinforce the expansion process, by strengthening our global delivery ability and widening our presence into new locations in Europe. Beyond these advantages, the acquisition also allows greater scale effects, specialization and focus, providing ways for the digital transformation of both companies and society itself to happen in a stronger and faster pace”, concluded the InnoWave’s CEO.
WinTrust is a Portuguese company that was founded in 2006, that has active projects in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland and Sweden. It is a software consulting and certifying company that adds experience to the application of Quality Assurance Services best practices. WinTrust cares about all software quality related aspects, with a stronger focus software testing, Clouds/DevOps, Continuous Testing, Project Management and Functional Analysis.
Accordingly to Filipe Nuno Carlos, WinTrust’s Managing Partner “this integration on the InnoWave Group will bring us opportunities to grow to new geographies and a stronger and more integrated service and products offer”.
